CAD guided surgery is an area, where a mock-up of the actual surgery is performed on the computer with the patient’s digital data like CT scan fed into it.
The computer then gives a 3D guide or a template with which we can perform the actual surgery which exactly corresponds to the Mock-up on the computer.
